The Bic Camera has launched a free trade -in service for TV, refrigerators and washing machines on the 6th. According to the Home Appliance Recycling Law, these products are charged for recycling, but by collecting them as reuses, they are unnecessary. The service was launched at two stores: BicCamera Ikebukuro Main Store (Toshima -ku, Tokyo) and Omiya West Exit Sogo store (Omiya -ku, Saitama -shi). The area is in the 23 wards of Tokyo and the entire Saitama prefecture, and the area is scheduled to be gradually expanded along with the corresponding stores. We plan to respond to big stores, but the Kojima store of the group also states that "if the operation goes well, there is a possibility that it will expand" (Bic Camera Public Relations). The free trade -in target will be a TV within 15 years of manufacturing, a refrigerator and a washing machine within 7 years. Since it is collected as a reused product, it is not subject to trade -in if there is a failure or damage. The Home Appliance Recycling Law also includes other clothing dryers, but it starts services with products that can be expected to demand reuse. By applying for a trade -in when replacing home appliances at the target store, unnecessary home appliances will be picked up when the purchased product is delivered. Big has "strengthened efforts to a circular society (circular value)" as an important management issue (material). The subsidiary Sofmap is working on a group, including developing a comprehensive purchase service "Lakuru".
