Or rather, in my case, I bought the Xperia 1 II a year ago and haven't used the "Xperia 1" since then, so it would be a loss if I didn't return it.

So, I will complete the procedure by the end of June. First of all, I applied for the return from the website, but it was difficult to understand other than this. There is no item in "Procedures" of "My Docomo", and even if you search for "Okaeshi", the page about procedures will not be hit.

Once go to My Docomo's "Procedures" and go to "Confirm/Change Contract Details", and when the screen changes, click "Docomo Online Procedures" at the top of the screen. On this page, there is an item called "Using the Smartphone Welcome Program (mail)", so you can apply from here. It is a mystery why there is no item on the "Procedure" page of "My Docomo", but it is a point that I would like you to improve.

Once you find the "Smartphone Welcome Program Use (by mail)", all you have to do is follow the instructions and proceed with the application process. However, if you have subscribed to the "Mobile Device Protection Service", you need to cancel it first.

　After completing the application, you will first receive a personal receipt mail. This envelope contains instructions on how to sign up for when you will receive your return kit. If you apply according to that, you will receive a return kit at the specified time, so prepare your driver's license etc. and receive it after identity verification.

　It's troublesome to go to the store and return it, so we use online and mail, but even then, the person has to wait at a specific time. This is troublesome too.

　In addition to the documents, the return kit contains a letter pack with the return address and a cushioning material to wrap the terminal. After that, just initialize the terminal body, fill in the necessary information on the document, put it in the letter pack and mail it to the post.

About a week later, I received a message R notifying me that the item had been returned and that the assessment had been completed. When I checked the "usage fee" on My Docomo, it was "Smartphone Welcome Program, the amount equivalent to returning the terminal - 34,344 yen", and there were no additional charges, and the outstanding debt was gone.

　It would be nice if the return process could be done more easily and easily without having to go to the shop, but for the time being this will reduce unnecessary costs, so I'm relieved. .
